While I do enjoy playing my monk I don't think it is my favorite. Although you can typically get accepted into a group very easily it is the most frustrating character simply because the groups survival falls onto your shoulder's regardless of whether the team plays well or if you're in a group with idiots....but I guess monk frustrations should be saved for other threads (Lord knows there is a lot of them).

I spent 400k + gold on my ranger a few days ago buying him some sweet bows and nice armor and I am enjoying him very much. Trapping is great but slow, B/P is great in topk and fow, Beast Master is sick too bad i got an elder spider, and Poison arrow is my new favorite elite. I dont know why but the fact that i can poison people for 20 seconds for only 3 energy is great.
Plus the fast recharge in combined with all the preparations and spirits i can get some great damage.

Negatives are sometimes hard to get in a group (Warrior, Nuker, Monk) only...

Hmm, love my monk. Assassin is a blast to play as well... I gotta say Mesmer is my favorite though.

I equally like all classes I've played so far. The only ones I have yet tried is Mesmer and Assasin.

Since my first character was an Elemenalits (e/r, now e/me) I have a soft spot for my ele

Ritualist is comin in very close second.

There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing your enemy pissed off

Second would have to be necro - so much to do with them, and MM rocks.
Thirdly would be Ele - higher damage = fun.
Fourth would be Monk/Warrior - both higherly enjoyable, but can get boring.
Lastly would be Ranger/Ritualist - just find there style boring

Haven't tested assasin yet :P

Pre-Nerf Ele

Post Nerf is a toss up between Ele and Monk, though I am thoroughly enjoying PvPing with my Mesmer and some PvE with that same class as well.
